Position: Public Works Seasonal Workers (Maintenance Worker 1)
Salary: $21.55 - $23.95 per hour
The City of Corcoran is accepting applications for Summer Seasonal Maintenance Workers in our Public Works Department for seasonal road and park maintenance. Duties include assisting with, but are not limited to: mowing, weed whipping, tree/brush removal, flagging, crack filling, park maintenance, and baseball/soccer field preparation. This seasonal position will be scheduled to work Monday thru Friday, up to 40 hours per week, between the months of April/May through September/October; working overtime may be required.
Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record (No moving violations in the last 3 years), as well as have good work ethic. Previous experience in park or lawn maintenance and Class B CDL license not required but highly desired.
Employment will be subject to the successful completion of a pre-employment background check, and a physical, drug screen, and work simulation physical exam. Starting salary will depend on qualifications.
