The North Hennepin Pioneer Society is hosting their annual Summerfest fundraiser on Sunday, August 9, 2026, from Noon to 4:30 p.m. All funds collected will be used to help keep up the expenses of insurance, painting, utilities, maintenance, and lawn mowing. The Summerfest event will be held on the school grounds of Corcoran's Burschville School District #107. The school is located 4 ½ miles West of Corcoran on Hennepin County Road #10 at 22995 County Road 10, and is open to the public.
Featured activities will be returning entertainment by Rod Cerar, an International Entertainer-featuring the "Music of our Lives", free face painting by Encore Entertainment, touring of the school and a chance to sit at a student desk, Kid's games, door prizes and raffle prizes, flea market, plus a local food wagon, BSQ's BBQ, Bryan Swanson, "Pitmaster"! Bring the family out and enjoy the fun!
