Position: Public Works Part-Time Seasonal Workers (Maintenance Worker 1)
Salary: $20.02 -- $22.25 per hour
The City of Corcoran is accepting applications for part-time Seasonal Maintenance Workers in our Public Works Department for seasonal road and park maintenance. Duties include assisting with, but are not limited to: mowing, weed whipping, tree/brush removal, flagging, crack filling, park maintenance, and baseball/soccer field preparation. This seasonal position will be scheduled to work Monday thru Friday, 40 hours per week, between the months of April/May through September/October; working overtime may be required.
Applicants must be 16 years or older, have good work ethic, possess a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record (No moving violations in the last 3 years). Previous experience in park or lawn maintenance and Class B CDL license not required but highly desired. Employment will be subject to completion of a pre-employment background check and physical. The salary range is $20.02 to $22.25 per hour. Starting salary will depend on qualifications.
