Public comments may be submitted in any of the ways listed below. Members of the public are encouraged to provide comments via email before the meeting. This will help staff, Council Members, and Commissioners review the comments thoroughly, without any potential technological issues or complications.

Before Meetings
Email [email protected]corcoranmn.gov with a comment on a specific agenda item. Please indicate the item in the subject line of your email, and send it in by 4:00 pm, the Wednesday night before the scheduled Council or Commission meeting.
Mail Comments
Corcoran City Hall at 8200 County Road 116, Corcoran, MN 55340. Please post your mail at least three days before the meeting.
Call Staff with Comments
Contact City Administrator Jessica Beise at 763-400-7029. Please call by 4:00 pm, the Wednesday night before the scheduled Council or Commission meeting.
During Meetings
You can make comments during the public hearing or comment portion of the meeting.
Comments Via Telephone
Call the phone number listed on the agenda (included within the agenda packet link above) and enter the meeting number followed by # (pound/hashtag). You will be asked for a participant number. Just press # (pound/hashtag). When you join the meeting through your phone, you will receive notice that your line is muted. This is to reduce background noise from individual lines. Wait for the meeting to begin and follow along with the agenda at the link above for the public comment sections. Press *9 to initiate a comment during the public comment sections in the meeting. Please note each meeting will have a different meeting number.
During a public hearing, staff will announce that the public hearing is open and anyone that would like to comment should press *9 on their phone. This will allow staff to see who would like to comment.
Comments Via Video
Use the link listed on the agenda (included within the agenda packet link above). You can also join by visiting www.zoom.us and entering the meeting number listed on the agenda (included within the agenda packet link above). You will be asked to provide a participant name, staff will use the name provided to address you if you raise your hand to comment. When you join the meeting, you will notice that your audio/video is muted. This is to reduce background noise. Wait for the meeting to begin and follow along with the agenda at the link above for the public comment sections. To initiate public comment, you will use the Raise Hand function. If viewing on a computer click on the Participants button and participant information will appear on the right-hand side, you will see the Raise Hand button in the bottom right corner. Click the Raise Hand button. If you are on a tablet or smartphone click the More Button (…) and click Raise Hand. Clicking the Raise Hand function will allow staff to see you would like to comment.
When the public comment section is opened and it is your turn to speak, staff will call on you by the last four digits of your phone number or the name you provide and will unmute your line so you can speak. Please state your name and address for the record.
