Apply for Permit

All applications for residential and commercial building, mechanical, plumbing, utility, and land disturbance permits must be submitted online. Contractors and homeowners can apply for a permit, check permit status, search for permits, view inspection results, and make electronic payments using the Online Permit Portal.

PIN REQUIREMENT: To bypass PIN requirement, use the 'Don't have a PIN?' or 'Request Account Linkage' link options during registration, or email permits@corcoranmn.gov to request PIN. Refer to the Online Permit Application Guide for detailed instructions. 

PAY ONLINE
No service fee for EFT (electronic check) payments. Credit card transactions subject to a 3.25% service fee.

  Metro West Inspection Services at 763-479-1720.

MAINTENANCE PERMITS: 
The following permits can be applied for, paid, and issued online without review (residential only):

Mechanical (Air Conditioner, Furnace/Boiler, Gas Fireplace, Gas Line/Garage Heater)

Projects requiring plan review may take up to 15 working days to approve. Review time may vary based on the complexity of the project and/or the completeness of the construction documents.
